Hersheys Spice. She is the dam for 4 of my other mares. Spices Sugar Bars, LeosGraceAllSpicedUp, Leos Quixote Spice, and Pockets Spiced Cocoa. We have 4 out of the 5 babies she has foaled. She is a chestnut mare, 1996 model, broke to ride, gentle disposition, just a really nice mare. Her pedigree is available for public viewing at http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/hersheys+spice
Hersheys Spice and Spices Sugar Bars
Spices Sugar Bars- she is Spices second foal, shown here at 3 years old. We broke her to ride and she had her first foal in March of 2008. He is now 2 months old and we call him Lil Doc. Sugar's pedigree is available for public viewing at http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/spices+sugar+bars
Luminating Cindibear
Cindibear came to us from the Metcalf Ranch in North Dakota. She was coal black when I first laid eyes on her. I fell in love with her but it took me months to get even close to her. She was probably taken from mama and shipped to a sale and ended up in Fairland, Oklahoma where we purchased her. She is a gray, ever changing color from the coal black she was when I first saw her. She is one of the nicest riding horses we have and I really enjoy riding her. Her first foal was born in March 2008. She had a stud colt and unless someone offers me something astronomical for him, we will be keeping him. I am sure he will shed out black. Right now he is a grulla color with all the dun points including the stripe down his back. But I don't think he will stay that way. It will surprise me if he does. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/luminating+cindibear
Pockets Spiced Cocoa
Cocoa is a palomino with lots of chocolate coloring. Her legs are dark, kinda giraff looking that fades as it goes up her body to a dark gold. I really dont know how else to describe her. She is mild tempered and has an onery streak. She is a year old this year. She has the prettiest head I have ever seen on a quarter horse. And pretty little ears. She will be added to my band of broodmares when the time comes. Until then we will continue to work with her to keep her gentle and respectful. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/pockets+spiced+cocoa
LoesGraceAllSpicedUp
This is my Gracie. I added this picture of her because you can really see the dun factor in her. The picture below is also her. She is here with her dam, Hersheys Spice. Her sire was a perlino (a doulbe-dilute stallion) named RW Leos Perscription. Who would have imagined we would get a palomino dun that looked like this. She is my pride and joy. She was born in May of 2005, and named after my grandmother, Grace. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/leosgraceallspicedup
Another of Miss Gracie
Leos Quixote Spice
Quixote was also sired by RW Leos Perscription. She is a full sister to Gracie. She is a buckskin dun. My husband has wanted one of these for his whole life but would not spend the money for one. So we bred for one and got it! Lucky for him. She was born in May, 2006. She is special to my hubby and as onery as they come. She is a nice size but is still growing. I expect she will be bigger than Gracie. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/leos+quixote+spice
